About Bryan

Bryan and his wife co-founded a successful Lincoln-based business in 2011. Before that, he served as Chief of Talent Management at Kawasaki, Nebraska’s largest manufacturing plant, and as Director of Workforce Development at the Lincoln Partnership for Economic Development. Bryan currently serves as Executive Director of Lincoln Literacy, an organization that provides literacy and workforce development services.

In these roles, Bryan worked to attract and retain local businesses, strengthen the workforce, and help Lancaster County’s economy grow.

Public safety runs deep in Bryan’s family, he’s the son, grandson, and brother-in-law of law enforcement officers. He has worked side-by-side with the Lancaster County Sheriff’s Office and Lincoln Police Department on initiatives around mental health, suicide prevention, and connecting families in need with local resources.

Why I'm Running

Common Sense Leadership
Bryan is running for Lancaster County Commissioner in District 3 as an Independent because he believes local government should focus on solving problems, not partisan politics. As a husband, father, business owner, and neighbor, Bryan wants our community to plan ahead and continue to grow.

Investing in Infrastructure
Bryan will prioritize repairing and maintaining roads and bridges to support responsible growth and improve quality of life for all residents. Strong infrastructure keeps our economy moving and our communities connected.

Safe and Strong Communities
Bryan believes public safety starts with trust and partnership. He will work to ensure law enforcement has the resources needed to keep our neighborhoods safe while supporting programs that strengthen families and communities.

Growing Our Economy and Supporting Affordability
Lancaster County is a vibrant and growing community, but rising costs for housing, healthcare, and childcare are putting pressure on families. Bryan will focus on creating economic opportunity, supporting local businesses, and keeping our community affordable for everyone.

Promoting Transparency and Accessibility
County government should be open, accountable, and easy for residents to engage with. Bryan will ensure that decisions are made in the public eye and that residents have access to the information and resources they need to stay involved.
